How to Avoid Getting Banned (Disabled) From Google Adsense

Google Adsense is the top source of income for many blogs and websites. But many accounts get banned by Google Adsense daily due to fraud activity, here are some of the tips to avoid getting banned from Google Adsense.

20 Tips for Google Adsense Users:

  • Don’t click your own Google Adsense ads.
  • Don’t ask your friends and relatives to click on your ads.
  • Don’t join click exchange programs.
  • Don’t join traffic exchange programs.
  • Never change or modify the Google Adsense code.
  • Don’t encourage your visitors to click on your Adsense ads.
  • Do not place more than 3 ad units and 3 ad links or 2 Adsense search boxes on any web page.
  • Do not run other contextual text ad network with Adsense.
  • Do not disclose confidential information about your account like CTR and CPM, number of clicks, etc..
  • Don’t label Adsense ads heading other than sponsored links or advertisements.
  • Never launch a New Page for clicked ads by default.
  • Don’t insert Adsense ad in a pop up or a frame.
  • Don’t create 2 Adsense accounts, you can use same account for any .number of websites and blogs.
  • Never Place ads on under construction or no content page.
  • Don’t use images aside of Adsense ads.
  • Don’t place Adsense ads below drop-down menu.
  • Do not send your ads by email.
  • Don’t place Adsense ads on prohibited content or categories.
  • Avoid excessive advertising and keyword stuffing.
  • Don’t place Adsense ads on local language websites or blogs.

I’m a bit curious with the last bullet point. “Don’t place Adsense ads on local language websites or blogs.” Why can’t a site owner make use of Adsense with having their own language? Wherein Google also provide ads in same language right? I’ve seen informational sites who use Adsense.

Ya Lynn, Adsense has a set of languages which are supported, so before inserting ads in languages other that English you must check if the language is compatible with Adsense policies…

Vijay, I would like some advice here, I saw some of the sites have posters like “please click the advertisements below” , Is it illegal?

Will google monitor such things?

Yes Beth, its illegal, Google will monitor periodically and will ban if you place such kind of titles above ads….

great post it will help publishers understand the terms and conditions of Google Adsense, if one is really eager to make money with Adsense he must not violet the rules given by Google. no matter how smartly you are trying to dodge Google you will be caught as Google is the master.

I think main reason behind Getting Banned from Google adsense is clicking own Google Adsense ads intentionally or by mistake
